Lee Truax

President / Senior Consultant / Senior Solutions Architect

Focus: Leveraging AI to drive strategic growth, business development, and improve efficiency and impact in nonprofit organizations.

Rationale: With an extensive experience in business development, strategic growth, and the nonprofit sector makes Truax is uniquely positioned to leverage AI tools for identifying growth opportunities, optimizing business processes, enhancing decision-making, and improving efficiency and impact in both corporate and nonprofit settings.

A veteran of the IT Industry, Lee worked for some of the “who’s who” of the computer industry:  Zenith Data Systems, Memorex Telex, NetFRAME Systems, Tandem Computers, Compaq Computer Corporation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). 

Starting in the IT field in pre-sales technical roles, Truax continued on the sales and marketing side of the business. As a Business Development Executive, Truax drove the Northeast US semiconductor business development efforts for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).  Truax is also an NFL Stadium Technician serving the New England Patriots on the Official NFL Stats’ Crew (a game day assignment) for the last 34 seasons.

A graduate of Messiah University in Grantham, PA, with a BA in English, Lee also earned an MBA in Leadership from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA, and is a doctoral candidate in business administration (DBA in Leadership) from Liberty University with an expected completion in 2024. 

An active marketplace ministry volunteer leader since the early 1990’s, Lee became a CBMC Field Ministry Associate in 1993 representing CBMC in MA and surrounding New England states. Lee held leadership roles in CBMC Trusted Advisor Forums, the Ministry Advisory Team for CBMC New England, and the Chairman’s role for the annual CBMC Family Conference at Word of Life, Schroon Lake, NY.

Truax became President of CBMC, Inc (USA). headquartered in Chattanooga, TN from 2009 – 2017 where he led the ministry in a significant digital transformation.  Member of the Global Leadership Team (GLT) for CBMC International from 2010 - 2019, Truax served with a team of global leaders responsible for marketplace ministry operations across the globe. 

Most recently, Lee served from 2019 - 2021 as President of the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI), a global marketplace fellowship of companies stewarded for business excellence and Kingdom impact. In 2022, Lee joined a startup company as President / COO leveraging a strategic and intentional supply chain dedicated to the transformation of exploited and exploitable individuals through “greater than living wage” employment. 

Truax currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development and International Initiatives for Convene Corp., a top tier faith-integrated peer advised professional round table organization.

Kent Kusel

Senior Business Consultant / Executive Coach

Strategic thinker, spiritual/leadership coach, sales and marketing veteran and entrepreneur who thoroughly enjoys a new challenge in business.  With over 40 years of executive leadership, half in the traditional marketplace and half in not for profit, Kent thoroughly enjoys working with people who are passionate about their mission.

Kent’s traditional workplace experience include full time employment with GE Capital, Commercial Real Estate Services, Berkshire Mortgage Finance, Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, Arvida Corporation, Balsam Technologies, and New England Cloud Solutions.  In the not-for-profit space, Kent served CBMC Leadership Institute / CBMC Inc, Marketplace Network, and most recently Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI).

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Kent enjoys the beautiful landscape of New England and all that it has to offer. 

An ongoing project is the 2017 launch of an entrepreneurial/business training center in Dhaka, Bangladesh which is part of the business as mission work with his local church. 

For hobbies he loves golf, kayaking, biking, motorcycling, walking with his dog in the woods and just exploring and hiking with his wife in the spectacular landscape of New England and other parts of the world.
